So my friend Allison posted this on her facebook status about EMT's and I laughed so hard I had to share it. It should also have been about nurses!

You've ever referred to Tuesday as "my weekend", or "this is my Friday." 15. Discussing dismemberment over a meal seems perfectly normal to you. 16. You find humor in other people's stupidity. 17. 50% of people are a waste of good air! Oh it couldn't be more true!! :)  

Happy Birthday!

Zakai's birthday was a few days before mine. He got this Darth Vader mask. There is a button on it that you push and it makes your voice sound more like Darth Vader. Kai was walking around with the mask on and light saber in hand saying. "You are not the dark sides favorite!"  Little boys are so funny! Barbi and Ami made him a Captain America cake. It was pretty awesome!!

I also had a great birthday! My roommates decorated my bedroom door for me and left me a note on the fridge. They also gave me an iTunes card and.......drum roll please...... FROSTED FLAKES!! I have a crazy love for frosted flakes and I don't care who knows it!! We all had a good laugh over it. I am lucky to have them! I am also so lucky to have my aunt Barbi, uncle Mike, and cousin Ami! They are the bomb! They took me to lunch and dinner, made me a cake, and gave me a gift certificate to "the Loft"! They are so good to me! I also had a party with friends and my friend Liz also made me a cake. I am so grateful for ALL my friends and family. It was a happy day and I felt very blessed. :) Thank you to everyone that made it so great!

SALT LICK!

Our family has had this joke ever since Jessie was little that we were going to have a salt lick at her wedding reception because she likes salt so much. So, I got a real salt lick for the bridal shower!! So funny!! That thing is so heavy. It weighs 50 lbs!

Before the shower I asked Tanner some questions about himself and Jessie. Then we played a game where I asked Jessie the same questions and if she did not answer them the way Tanner did then she had to put a piece of gum in her mouth. She had to keep all the gum in her mouth until the game was over. It was fun! :)

MUD OLYMPICS!

A few weeks ago for FHE we had the Mud Olympics! It was so much fun! Bro Smith made flooded part of his yard and made it super muddy. The olympics consisted of relay races, tug-a-war, and keep away. We got so filthy but it was worth it! We had so much fun!

Only one person got hurt. His hand is now in a cast....

Don't Give Jill Money

The other day I got this text from a completly random number:

"What does jill have to say you know she lives with a creep and is asking everyone for money I hope if she asked u you would not give her any"

I laughed so hard!!! And the fact that there is absolutely no punctuation just made it that much better. :)  But I guess I learned my lesson. Don't give Jill money!  ;)

My New Home

These pictures are of my new house. I moved in with 3 girls in my ward. They have lived in the house for almost 2 years so it is already decorated and has furniture. I'm loving it! 

It looks like a blue smurf!! :)

 Most of the pictures are from the day I moved in so it's kind of messy.

Here are some pictures of my room right now. What a pretty valance over the window! Just kidding! It was already their when I moved in. I'm still looking for drapes that I like. I might end up just making them. We will see.
