Hello

A little hospital humor to lighten the day. I took care of a patient over the weekend that was a very pleasantly confused elderly man. He said so many funny things! I can't even remember everything he said. Names have of course been changed to protect the innocent.  ;-)

Me: Good morning Mr. Melon! Did you sleep well last night?

Mr. Melon: Ya. (big smile) I need you to do something for me but I know you're busy because you are engaged.

Me: What? I'm not getting married. I wish!

Mr. Melon: Yes you are. (Big smile) We are getting married.

Me: We are getting married? I didn't know that.

Mr Melon: Ya... we're getting married...and you can move into my trailer park with me. We can adopt if you want...but we can't have children for obvious reasons. 

Usually my job is very stressful. But, sometimes it can be very funny!
